Committee members are needed to plan an information fair.
If you are interested in helping to plan a volunteer/health fair and have any
of the following skills: marketing/advertising expertise, design experience,
excellent organizational expertise, please contact us to put your talents to
work!
Housekeeping help is needed - Single Volunteers or Groups
Vacuuming, dusting and mopping would be appreciated on a monthly basis.
You set up the day and time that you are available. Volunteer with a friend
to get the job done faster!
Transportation to Medical Appointments
Take elderly neighbors to medical appointments. Appointments are usually
and which assignments you would like.
Friendly Visiting
Several Wausau Area residents are in need of friendly visiting twice a
month. Take someone out for ice cream or bring it to them. Sit outside and
enjoy the spring weather. Play cards or just chat. The time you share
means so much to our elderly and disabled neighbors in need!
Shopping / Running Errands
Take an elderly lady to the grocery store for some shopping needs twice a
month.
Snow Shoveling
Several elderly people are in need of shoveling. Please contact our office if
you are interested in helping.
Yard Raking, grass Cutting in summer months
We frequently receive requests for help with yard work for our neighbors in
need. Please consider donating your time to help an older or disabled
neighbor in our community. Tasks include cutting grass, trimming scrubs,
and raking leaves.
