- Housekeeping help is needed - Single Volunteers or Groups
Several Wausau Area elderly or disabled residents are in need of alittle help
with light housekeeping once or twice a month. Such tasks such as washing
windows, sweeping, or dusting would be appreciated on a monthly basis.
You set up the day and time that you are available. Volunteer with a friend to
get the job done faster!
- 3 Disabled residents living on the north side of Wausau would benefit
from some much needed light housekeeping to be done 1-2 times a
month or as needed. Mostly vacuuming, sweeping or mopping floors.
These Care Receivers are not able to do these tasks due to their
disability in a wheelchair. 2-3 volunteers together could help all three
of these residents on the same day, working as a team.
- Elderly couple in Weston is looking to have some help cleaning and
shampooing the carpet in a few rooms after Christmas.
- Elderly lady with difficult vision issues living on the north side of
Wausau, would like some help with washing windows, washing out the
bathtub and sweeping the stairs. This would be once a month or even
less, as needed.
- Elderly lady in living close to the city of Marathon is needing some help
with mopping and dusting once a month or as needed.
- Elderly lady living in Wausau is looking for help with vacuuming and
sweeping once a month or less.
- Elderly lady living in Mosinee would like some help wit general house
cleaning 1-2 times a month.
- Elderly man living in Wausau is looking for help with general house
cleaning once or twice a month as needed.
- Elderly lady living in on the west side of Wausau would like some help
with general house cleaning as needed.
- Middle to late aged woman on disability, living in Hatley, is looking for
some help doing general housecleaning and home organizing as
needed.
- Elderly man living in on the north side of Wausau is looking for help
with general house cleaning once or twice a month as needed.
- Young Disabled/Wheelchair bound 20-30 yr old lady living in Wausau,
would like to visit with someone for an ongoing friend relationship.
Someone to look up to and get positive support.
- Middle Aged Disabled/Wheelchair bound man living in Wausau, would
enjoy getting out for coffee and conversation. Someone to be a friend.
- 2 Elderly ladies living in Wausau would like someone to connect with
for friendship and conversation.
- Elderly lady living in on the west side of Wausau would like some
friendship and conversation while taking a walk, once a week or less.
- Shopping / Running Errands
- Eldery lady living on the north side of Wausau, would like some help
getting to the grocery store or other nearby stores for some shopping
needs 1-2 times a month or as needed.
- Young Disabled/Wheelchair bound 20-30 yr old lady living in the north
side of Wausau, would like some help with shopping needs or running
errands on a monthly basis as needed.
- Elderly lady living in Mosinee would like some help with shopping
needs to Walmart, once a month as needed.
- Elderly lady living in on the west side of Wausasu would like some help
with shopping needs or errands as needed.
- Middle to late aged woman on disability, living in Hatley, is looking for
some help doing general housecleaning and home organizing as
needed.
- Winter Snow Shoveling Help
- Elderly Weston couple are looking for some winter snow shoveling help
for heavy snow storms. Health conditions have made this task more
difficult and more of a health risk for their safety. The man will help
along as he is able to.
- Indoor Wall Painting help
- Elderly Weston couple are looking for some help in getting a few
rooms painted after Chirstmas. Health conditions have made this
task difficult for them to complete.
- Middle to late aged woman on disability, living in Hatley, is looking for
some help doing some paint touch ups in her home.
- Yard Raking, grass Cutting in summer months
We frequently receive requests for help with yard work for our neighbors in
need. Please consider donating your time to help an older or disabled
neighbor in our community. Tasks include cutting grass, trimming scrubs,
and raking leaves.
- Middle to late aged man living on the west side of Wausau, who is
legally blind would like some help with grass cutting as needed.
- Reading Mail for Vision Impaired Residents
- Middle to late aged man living on the west side of Wausau, who is
legally blind would like some help reading his mail on a weekly basis.
- Organizing items to prepare for a rummage sale.
- Elderly lady in living close to the city of Marathon is needing some
help with organizing items in preparing for a rummage sale.
